About Taiwan Maritime Services Limited

Taiwan Maritime Services Limited (TMS) was established in 1987 as a fully independent correspondent for Protection and Indemnity (P&I) Clubs in Taiwan. For nearly four decades, TMS has provided comprehensive correspondent services to numerous P&I Clubs, assisting them in handling a wide range of marine incidents and claims throughout Taiwan.

Throughout many of Taiwan's most significant maritime casualties over the past 40 years, TMS has been entrusted to provide prompt and comprehensive local support. These experiences have enabled us to continuously strengthen our expertise and develop a highly capable team specializing in marine claims, casualty response, and incident management.

Today, our team brings together professionals with diverse backgrounds in merchant shipping, international transportation management, maritime law, marine surveying, and seagoing experience. This multidisciplinary expertise allows us to provide comprehensive support to P&I Clubs while effectively coordinating with shipowners, local authorities, surveyors, and other stakeholders during maritime incidents.

Beyond the P&I sector, TMS is also appointed by commercial fixed-premium marine insurers as their local correspondent in Taiwan. Our services extend to matters involving Hull & Machinery (H&M) insurance, including casualty investigations, claims handling, surveys, and other related marine insurance services.
